Jeff: "I’m thrilled that Artesian Farms will provide locally grown basil, kale and lettuce to Go Smoothies. By growing locally in Detroit, I can provide the freshest, nutrient rich produce for Go! Smoothies.  Honestly speaking, I see Callie as much more than one of my customers, her depth knowledge of nutrition and health benefits of fresh produce will assist me in communicating the nutritional value of the products we grow at Artesian Farms.

Callie and I share a common vision to improve our community by using food as a tool to improve health, create economic opportunity for Detroiters and create a sustainable food system in Detroit.

Being a part of the FoodLab community means I belong to a community of like-minded people that have a passion for food and are willing to support one another to make a sustainable food system in Detroit. FoodLab is a connector of organizations in the local food system that helps members sell their products or services. FoodLab is a resource for information that is always available if I have a question or event for which I need assistance."
Jeff Adams, Founder, Artesian Farms

Callie: "I couldn’t be happier that Artesian Farms provides us with basil and romaine for our beet juice.  We’re also in discussion about them growing beets at some point for us as well.  We also hope to use the lettuce for our salads.  Since Jeff is an expert in farming and we are experts in the health benefits of whole foods we discussed doing a blog for him on health and also having a workshop with his speaking on growing sustainable food.

Jeff and I have a strong passion for growing food, building and mentoring the community and sharing our knowledge of the health benefits of food.

WOW! Being a part of the FoodLab community means so much!  It means being part of a community of helpers and doers, who are passionate about the communities, partners and people they serve.  Quite frankly, being a part of FoodLab simply feels like family.  If I have a question or if I have a need, Food Lab members are always there to lend a hand, a word of encouragement and advice."
