FARMER’S MARKET SUPERSTARS; “We Pride Ourselves On Our Community.” Carlos Parisi and Chloe Sabatier

Carlos: "Chloe and I have worked together in several forms, but most notable is at Eastern Market, where we have been set up next to each other for the last 2 years.  We have even set up package deals for snacks and dessert (Chips/salsa and Lava cakes).  Also, we provide each other with different vendor opportunities throughout the region in the hopes of working some shows together, and keeping each other driven towards success.

I have helped Chloe with the education of her sales style, utilizing energy, excitement with my customer service/care techniques

Starting your own business can be an isolating experience. Finding the right people to surround yourself with can be a challenge; but within FoodLab I've found a strong support network.  I look to the FoodLab community every day (even if it's just seeing emails) for motivation, education, and advice.

In FoodLab I found a support network that shares my same values and my same challenges. In FoodLab, I’ve found family!" #WEAREFOODLAB

Chloe: "At Eastern Market and in day to day business, Carlos and I motivate each other.   We make each other (and the vendors and customers around us) smile and laugh and we push each other to strive for bigger sales.

I have helped Carlos with the more gourmet clientele.  I’ve given him tips on packaging and display tips, along with strategic approaches in and outside of the market life.

In the FoodLab community there is a strong sense of love, respect and understanding that comes from this close-nit family! We all pride ourselves on our community and surroundings".  #WEAREFOODLAB. HOLLA!
